Rental Home Description:

Quiet and secluded, this cozy, 5 bedroom log home is conveniently located on a 6 acre lot, surrounded by mature cottonwood trees, numerous ponds, and easy access to the Snake River and protected open space. This county-style home with a European flare, provides access to a multitude of activities including fishing, hiking, swimming, rafting and cross country skiing. During the spring and summer the grounds come alive with hundreds of daffodils and perennial flowers.

Radiant heat runs throughout the wood floors on the ground level which consists of the dining room, living room, reading room, sun room and kitchen. The sunken, country kitchen is fully-equipped with top-of-the-line appliances including an English AGA stove. It has ample tile counter space, a cooking island, a large pantry and a breakfast bar.

The master suite on the second floor, has a queen sized bed and a “his and hers” workspace complete with desks and shelving. Glass doors open onto the deck, perfect for a morning in the sun with your coffee and newspaper. The attached bathroom is finished with beautiful Mexican tile and a soaking tub. There are 2 additional bedrooms in the main part of the house, both on the second floor. One bedroom has a set of bunk beds and the second has one twin bed. Both bedrooms include a sink for washing up before bed (European style) and they share a full bathroom which contains a shower and tub.

Connected by a glass walkway from the main house is a guest apartment, equipped with a living area and kitchenette, two bedrooms and a shared bathroom with a shower. The bedding in the apartment is two full beds, a queen bed and a day bed. The home also offers a large mud room for storing boots and skis, an upright piano, the perfect kids playroom and an office equipped with a computer and internet access.
